This years Halloween themed snack board is probably my favorite yet. It’s a combination of homemade created treats and seasonal Target finds. The spiders are always on of my favorite things to make and this year I used pumpkin cheesecake cookies which were much easier than Oreos! I pulled them apart by twisting them softly and then placed the pretzel sticks down, securing them in the filling, and finally re-topping to close it. The eye balls are secured with a little frosting.
The witches brooms are made by sticking a pretzel stick down inside a miniature Reese’s. Those stay pretty securely on their own but be careful moving them around. And the witches hats are fudge covered Nutter Butters (you could use any solid flat chocolate cookie), with a little frosting and topped with a Hersey’s Kiss.
The sugar cookies are a Target find — they’ve started making these for big holidays and are so cute! I used their Christmas cookies on my Festive Holiday Hot Chocolate Board. For the pretzels and Reese’s with eyes, just secure the eye balls with a little frosting and let them set.
I think that covers all the fun stuff! The other ingredients are all listed below. I’m actually selling this years Halloween Board over at Gather & Graze by cerriously. I will be doing all the fun holidays from now on so make sure to check back. And order early — these will sell out!
