At one point in my life you wouldn’t catch me out of the house without a necklace on. And it typically wasn’t a small one – it was a huge statement. Today, that’s still true, but it’s about bracelets. I never leave the house without something on my wrist. I’m also a complete gold person. I definitely went through my sterling silver Tiffany & Co. phase, but it’s passed. Right now, I’m all about delicate gold pieces, and lots of them. Layering is my friend.
The Rocksbox jewelry subscription service has also gotten me to expand my collection recently. They have so many amazing piece and at such an affordable price. For $21 a month, you are sent 3 pieces of jewelry that you basically rent for the month (or however long you choose). And if you want to keep any of them, that $21 you paid goes towards your purchase. If this interests you (and I highly suggest it), you can use coupon code “cerriouslyxoxo” for your first month free! Sign up, wish-list some pieces and you’ll have $21 in credit towards your next piece of jewelry.
In addition to Rocksbox, I’ve found most of my jewelry from Nordstrom and Madewell, but even Etsy has some great finds too. So I thought I’d share my favorite pieces that I keep putting on day after day.

Bangles are my go-to. I just love the simplicity and versatility of them. And also the noise. There’s just something about the banging together that reminds me of playing dress-up and I love it. I layer quite a few from Alex and Ani and let them jingle on my wrist all day long. Here are some of the ones I currently love and/or wear:
necklaces
These days I’m all about layering multiple necklaces. Whether they come layered, or you combine a few on your own, they are the perfect accessory to finish an outfit. Most of my necklaces these days are from Rocksbox, but these are some of my other favorites:
rings
I always wanted to be a big ring wearer, but my fingers are just not made for them. I stick to the same ones every day. I actually don’t ever take them off. One of them is my wedding ring; enough said. And the other is a trinity ring from Etsy (mine is all yellow gold) — there isn't any sentimental value here, I just feel slightly more put together with it on so until I find one I love just as much, it stays on my hand. Currently have my eye on these other rings:
earrings
For some reason the same thing applies here that applies to rings. I love big dangled statement earrings, but I just can never walk out of the house after putting them on. I just recently started wearing hoops for the first time and I’m loving it — but it definitely took a few times putting them on before I stepped outside. I love the simplicity of a classic stud and they are fun to change up with various stones and colors. Some that I think should be in everyone's jewelry box are:
