simple crostini recipe

I cook with one motto: simple is always better. I hate when I make a recipe and then realize if I had just omitted 3-4 ingredients it would have been way better. Not to mention easier to make! Besides, simple recipes are always a crowd pleaser, and that’s truly all we’re going for here.
This is one of my go-to appetizers — you can top the crostini with things like tomatoes, peaches, and/or meats, or eat them as is! It’s an especially great addition to a cheese board as well. You can check out how I used them on this summer snack board. I prefer them warm out of the oven; gimme all the carbs.

10 minutes | serves 8
directions
Slice the baguette diagonally into quarter inch slices.
Arrange on a baking sheet.
Lightly spray the bread with olive oil. (you can also brush it on if you don’t have spray)
Sprinkle the slices with sea salt.
Broil on high until golden brown. (about 5 minutes)
