It’s been a heavy week. And it’s hard not to feel mentally and emotionally drained by everything that’s going on. Please remember it’s okay to take a break; and it’s okay to step back. We all need a little self-care and self-love right now. I mean, no one forget we’re also in the middle of a pandemic.
Also know that now is the time to be listening and learning. I hope everyone has had a chance to open their heart to the voices of the Black community. Their stories are very gut-wrenching, eye-opening and heart-felt. I participated in black out Tuesday and have not been posting regular content on Instagram this week; I also shared my feelings about what’s going on in stories. If you didn’t follow along, Shannon Griffin shared a quote that puts it much more eloquently than I did.
“Speaking out against white supremacy and race-based violence does not make you anti-white, anti-police, right or left. It makes you pro justice, pro Black life, pro accountability, and pro racial equality. Caring about the life of another isn’t political, it’s human.”
best sellers
Ruggable Prisma Rug — I will never buy a regular rug again. Being able to throw a rug in the washing machine is the best invention ever.
High Rise Skinny Jeans — Abercombie is my new go-to for jeans; they are affordable, come in great styles and washes, and fit great!
Ultra High Rise Denim Shorts — another Abercrombie favorite. I live in these shorts all Summer long.
Tie Strap Dress — I’m still surprised with was an Amazon find. It’s such a cute style.
