where to eat

Paul Martin’s American Grill — we ate here for our anniversary dinner and it was delicious. Plus the service was amazing! We got a filet to split and all the sides to go with it — the mashed potatoes were by far my favorite 🙌🏼.

Farm and Craft — such a cute spot with a great menu. It’s in a very convenient location so I suggest heading here for brunch or happy hour and doing some exploring before or after. This restaurant is owned by Riot Hospitality Group with also owns Dierks Bently’s Whiskey Row which was a fun touristy place to visit.

Arcadia Farms — this place has both a marketplace and a restaurant and such a neat atmosphere. Come for breakfast or lunch or take something to go. There were so many delicious options on the menu it was hard to choose!

where to stay

Hotel Adeline — I cannot say enough great things about this place. The location is perfect, the service was incredible, and the amenities were amazing. We enjoyed everything from the pool to the scooters and had the best time. Plus their decor is total goals. I mean look at that lobby! We spent most of our trip hanging at the hotel by the pool because it was so relaxing plus they had delicious food and super fun cocktails.

what to do

Old Town Scottsdale — this little downtown area looks like an old western town and it’s such a neat experience. There are about five blocks of shops and bars (some of these even looked like old saloons) that you can spend hours walking through. We went super early in the morning to avoid the heat so there were no 9 am cocktails but it would be fun to go back!

Hotel Adeline Pool Party — every Saturday, the hotel puts on a pool party and we couldn’t believe how cool it was! It’s open to the public so not everyone was a guest at the hotel. There was a bachelorette party and a birthday and everyone was having a blast. Even if you don’t stay at Hotel Adeline when you visit Scottsdale, I definitely recommend spending your Saturday afternoon by their pool.

Phoenix Zoo — we had a few hours to kill between hotel checkout and our flight, so we spent that time at the zoo. It was super convenient because their guest services held our luggage for us and it was 5 minutes from the airport. This zoo had so many amazing animals to look at! I think all the monkeys were by far my favorite — they even had an exhibit that you could go into to hang with them! Didn’t want to leave.

Have you been to Scottsdale before?
