So this was my first week of eating “clean”. By clean I mean no gluten, no dairy, no sugar, no corn, no coffee, no alcohol…the list goes on and I won’t bore you. Let’s just say I now eat things like brown rice tortillas and almond butter. Overall it hasn’t been as bad as I thought it would be. I gave myself a whole week to prepare and I tried not to think of it as a diet plan but instead a “let’s feel better” plan. I will say out of everything, coffee is what I miss the most. It’s part of my routine and that was very hard to adjust. Plus I hate tea — it tastes like dirt — so supplementing in something else was a chore. Luckily I did find a tea that didn’t make me want to gag so I’ve been drinking a cup of that every morning.

My goal was to last 30 days. 7 days in and I’m already starting to think of ways to modify this plan 😂 so wish me luck.

best sellers

Ruffle Shift Dress — second week in a row this dress has been a top seller. I even bought it in another color that is supposed to arrive today and can’t wait. It’s the perfect dress that can really be worn year round.

Twist Back Sweater — anther versatile piece; this can be worn regularly, off the shoulder or even backwards! I have it in a few colors and get so much use out of them.

Woven Mule Slides — these have been a go-to for me ever since I bought them. They go with basically everything!

Wooden Cheese Board — I use this for every board I make. It’s the perfect size for any type of platter you want to make and comes in a few different handle colors which is very fun.

recipes we tried

Turkey Chili — for being a “clean” chili this very good. Jamie also loved it but was able to add cheese on top 🙄. Overall, highly recommend if you are looking for a healthier weeknight meal.

Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas — again, super delicious. I ate all the left overs from this dinner. I attempted to make a taco with brown rice tortillas but it definitely feel apart on me, so I opted for brown rice instead. It was super easy to make and will for sure be on our menu again.

Lemon Pepper Chicken — Jamie made this meal this week and it was soooo good. I actually just finished the left overs from it while writing this post. He used Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper seasoning and then barbecued the chicken. Bomb.com.
